What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are beautifully crafted from synthetic, silk or mink. They have a seductive flick of the tail with a soft feather light feel. Each eyelash extension is bonded with a premium eyelash extension adhesive to one of your own natural lashes. This attachment process is repeated right across your lash line until you are left with a totally natural enhancement of gorgeous lashes. Lash extensions will add length, dramatic colour and density to your own lash line. Lash extensions can last up to 4 - 6 weeks. No mascara is needed and when performed by one of our experienced lash stylists, the health of your own lashes will not be damaged. All safety and hygiene aspects of our lash extension application is considered.

Refills are the process of re-applying eyelashes that have fallen out. You will generally need a refill within 2-4 weeks of having your extensions. This will keep your lash line maintained.
Why should I keep my lashline maintained?
Your natural lash cycle is 60 to 90 days. All lashes are at different cycle stages, some new and some due to fall out naturally. When they do fall out the attached extension will fall out with it. Therefore the lash extension will need to be replenished. Another reason is natural lashes will continue to grow, in some cases the lash extension will become too long or twist as the natural lash grows out. The extension should be removed and replaced.
Can I wear makeup with eyelash extensions?
You can wear make-up with Eyelash Extensions but avoid using waterproof mascara and liquid eyeliners. Eyeliner pencils are ok. Avoid applying oily creams too close to the extensions and always remove your eye makeup with a non- oil based remover. Oil based removers and waterproof mascaras break down the bonding agent used to apply your lashes.
Can my eyelash extensions get wet?
It is advisable that for the first 12 to 24 hours you don't get them wet. Avoid swimming, using spas and saunas or steam for 24 hours. This gives the lashes time to completely adhere.
Can I shower or swim with eyelash extensions?
You are free to get your lashes wet after the initial 24 hours. Eyelash extensions are applied with a special adhesive which is strong enough to hold while you swim, exercise, sleep, shower and spa.
What is the best way to care for my eyelash extensions?
Avoid touching or rubbing your eyes, this will cause them to fall out prematurely. After showering pat your lashes dry, avoid wiping or rubbing them dry. Keep your refills regular to maintain a luscious lash line. More information about caring for your lash extensions can be found on our Lash Care page.
